Serena has always had a passion for properties, a love that began with Art Deco house tours during her childhood. Growing up in a humble background, she admired the beauty and potential of properties. Initially, Serena pursued studies in vet nursing and zookeeping in Auckland. However, her path shifted towards real estate when she moved to the sunny Bay of Plenty.
Serena started her career in real estate almost 8 years ago as a real estate sales agent, gaining a solid foundation in the property market. After earning her residential property management qualification, she worked as a letting agent before becoming a sole charge property manager at a firm in Ohope for several years. Her journey then led her back to Tauranga, where she handled rental accounts and administration before transitioning back into property management with EVES, making her well-rounded in all things property management.
Currently, Serena works between the Papamoa office, managing residential rentals, and EVES on Cameron office, managing Toi Ohomai's student accommodation and private boarding houses. She loves the diversified challenges these two very different portfolios bring.
Serena's experience as both a prior renter and a homeowner of an investment property gives her a unique perspective, making her relatable to both renters and owners alike. She is settled in Tauranga with her husband and three Papillon dogs, continuing to bring her extensive knowledge and passion for property management to her work.
