"People will forget what you said but they will never forget how you made them feel."

This is the mantra that Anne Moffatt applies to her life and to her career as a property manager.

The Moffatt family immigrated to New Zealand from Ireland in 2001. Anne is now a proud sworn in Kiwi with first generation Kiwi Grandchildren. "I absolutely love New Zealand," says this avid golfer, a member of Tauranga Golf Club.

Anne has been in management all her working life, managing both people and offices, and coordinating the repairs and maintenance within the companies she worked. She developed excellent communication skills and discovered how much she loved problem solving and helping people meet their goals.

Property Management was a perfect fit for her skill set. When the position in Eves became available she saw the opportunity to work in an environment where she had the freedom to grow a business which employed all her former experience and her natural attributes. "I enjoy the flexibility of the job and the challenge involved in understanding and meeting the needs of the disparate group of people who make up my landlords and tenants."

Anne thrives on the variety of people and properties and that every day is different. "Time management is very important but you also have to be ready to change your plans quickly should the situation warrant it."

Anne manages properties right across the board, and is keen to add to her portfolio. She considers herself a caring, honest, reliable person not afraid of hard work; one who treats every property she manages as if it were her own. Anne purchased her first house when she was 18 and has always owned personal residential and rental properties.

Her decision to join Eves is one she will never regret. "Eves is a large and very reputable company with a lovely family feeling supported by a huge depth of knowledge within the company and a willingness among colleagues to share it."
